Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld returns from injury to make the bench in his side's Champions League clash against CSKA Moscow at Wembley Stadium.

Mauricio Pochettino has made one change to his Tottenham Hotspur side ahead of their Champions League Group E clash against CSKA Moscow at Wembley Stadium.

Harry Winks has been drafted in from the start on Wednesday evening to partner Victor Wanyama in a defensive midfield pairing, with Moussa Dembele dropping to the bench.

Also among the substitutes is Toby Alderweireld, who has been out with injury for nearly two months but is deemed fit enough for a place in the squad.

In his last game in charge of CSKA, head coach Leonid Slutsky makes two changes, with Kirill Nababkin replacing Mario Fernandes at right-back and Alan Dzagoev drafted into midfield at the expense of Fedor Chalov.

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris, Walker, Dier, Vertonghen, Rose, Winks, Wanyama, Eriksen, Dele, Son, Kane
Subs: Vorm, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Dembele, Sissoko, Nkoudou, Onomah

CSKA Moscow: Akinfeev, Nababkin, A. Berezutskiy, V. Berezutskiy, Shchennikov, Natcho, Golovin, Tosic, Milanov, Dzagoev, Traore
Subs: Chepchugov, Ignashevich, Gordyushenko, Chalov, Strandberg
