Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino says that Dele Alli is available for Saturday's Premier League clash with Manchester City.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has declared Dele Alli fit and available for Saturday's Premier League clash with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Alli, 21, was not involved in Tottenham's 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday night after being substituted in last weekend's meeting with Stoke City through illness.

The England international is expected to return to the Spurs XI this weekend, however, with Pochettino insisting that the attacker is "ready" to feature against the Citizens.

"He's okay. He's ready. He was ill in the game against Stoke so to give him some rest is always important. He's training well and he's ready," Pochettino told reporters.

Alli has only scored three Premier League goals for Spurs thus far this season.
