Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has defended his managerial style of using '70-page dossiers'.
The Portuguese recently came under attack from former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, who claimed that such an approach "baffles brains".
"In the end it's not about the manager, it's about the players," Villas-Boas is quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"Different kinds of managers have different leadership styles and the way they go about his business."
Villas-Boas replaced Redknapp as the Tottenham manager at the start of the 2012-13 season.
