Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose's red card against Manchester City has been rescinded by the Football Association.
The left-back was sent off for a tackle on City striker Edin Dzeko at White Hart Lane two days ago, resulting in a penalty that was converted by Yaya Toure.
City went on to win the game 5-1, but replays showed that Rose got to the ball before he made contact with the Bosnian forward.
Spurs manager Tim Sherwood told reporters: "I think Andre [Marriner] got it right in the first place when he called it as a corner.
"Unfortunately for us, the linesman decided that Andre got it wrong and he's given a penalty there. I think Danny's making a last-ditch tackle so he's having to lunge in there a bit. He clearly wins the ball."
Rose will now be able to face Hull City tomorrow.
