Christian Eriksen willing to play in any position

Christian Eriksen claims that he is not concerned about what position he plays in for Tottenham Hotspur.

Christian Eriksen has claimed that he is willing to play in any position for Tottenham Hotspur as the club chase a spot in the Champions League.

Despite struggling for form and fitness earlier in the season, Eriksen has impressed under head coach Tim Sherwood, who has deployed the 21-year-old both on the left and behind the lone striker since taking over from Andre Villas-Boas.

"I love playing," Eriksen told the club's official website. "I'm really enjoying playing right now – it doesn't matter where.

"If I get a chance I try to take it and it doesn't depend on where I play, it just depends on where the spaces are and where I can get the ball."

Spurs take on Everton at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
