Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is refusing to get swept up in the hype surrounding a potential senior England call-up.
The 21-year-old has been widely tipped to earn his first Three Lions cap next month after scoring 12 goals in 15 games for Spurs this season.
England manager Roy Hodgson himself has claimed that Kane deserves a place in the squad ahead of fixtures against Lithuania and Italy.
"A lot of people are talking about [England], but there is still a month or so until [Hodgson] names his squad and I've just got to keep doing what I am doing and keep my feet on the floor," Kane told Sky Sports News.
"Come the end of March, hopefully I am still doing it and we'll see what happens."
Kane was speaking after being named the Premier League's Player of the Month for January.
