A number of Tottenham Hotspur players are reportedly keen for head coach Antonio Conte to hand more opportunities to defender Joe Rodon.

A number of Tottenham Hotspur players have reportedly been pushing Joe Rodon's case for more game time.

The 24-year-old has endured a desperately disappointing campaign, being restricted to five starts and three substitute appearances in all competitions.

Despite Spurs' indifferent defensive form under head coach Antonio Conte, the Wales international has been provided with just two outings since December, both of which came in the FA Cup.

According to football.london, several senior players at Spurs have suggested that they would like Rodon to be given a chance to impress by Conte.

The report suggests that some of Rodon's teammates would like him to feature in their back three having failed to secure a temporary transfer away from North London in January.

Of Rodon's nine starts for club and country this season, four have come with his national team.
