Rafael van der Vaart shakes off a hamstring injury to take his place in the Tottenham Hotspur squad for today's trip to Norwich City.

Midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has been passed fit to take his place in the Tottenham Hotspur squad for tonight's trip to Norwich City.

The Dutch international was rated as doubtful for the fixture at Carrow Road following a hamstring injury that he sustained during the 1-1 draw with Chelsea last Thursday.

However, the 28-year-old has shaken off the knock and he is expected to start alongside Emmanuel Adebayor in attack this evening.

Van der Vaart joined Spurs in 2010 from Real Madrid.
