A Roberto Soldado penalty was again all Tottenham Hotspur needed for victory as they edged out Swansea City at White Hart Lane this afternoon.
The record signing from Valencia tucked home calmly from 12 yards, just like last week at Palace, to see Spurs maintain their 100% start to the season.

Midway through the opening half Spurs came within inches of going in front when Ashley Williams headed against the frame of his own goal before Paulinho's snap-shot was well held by Michel Vorm.
Paulinho and central midfield partner Moussa Dembele were Spurs' most threatening players in the first 45 and it was the latter who next tested Vorm with a shot that was tipped over.
At the other end, Swansea's best chance of the first half came when Jonjo Shelvey saw his near-post drive beaten away by Hugo Lloris.
Just before the interval Spurs thought they should have had a penalty when Shelvey upended Andros Townsend seemingly in the area, but referee Neil Swarbrick awarded a free kick on the edge that came to nothing.

Ten minutes after the break Vorm was again tested by Townsend's dipping drive before the hosts did go in front.
Again it was Shelvey and Townsend who tangled and this time Swarbrick did point to the spot, with Soldado making no mistake from 12 yards.
The visitors almost equalised in the 71st minute when Pablo Hernandez curled for the far corner but sent it just wide.
Minutes later Swans centre-back Chico Flores called Lloris into action with a sweetly struck volley that the French international parried away.
Andre Villas-Boas's side saw out the remaining minutes to notch another single-goal Premier League win.
They rise to third place in the table alongside fellow two-from-two sides Chelsea and Liverpool. Swansea stay bottom of the league as they remain in search of their first points of the season.
