AC Milan reportedly make contact with Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo.

The centre-back was previously linked with a move away in the summer transfer window following interest from Monaco and Tottenham Hotspur.

While he ultimately remained at Craven Cottage, Adarabioyo spent the majority of the opening three months of the season in the treatment room.

Adarabioyo has since returned to full fitness to start Fulham's last seven Premier League matches, including the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in their most recent outing.

Despite being a regular starter in the Fulham side, Adarabioyo faces an uncertain future in West London, with his contract set to expire in the summer.

Last month, it was claimed that the defender told Fulham he had no intention of extending his stay with the Cottagers.

However, Fulham are still keen to retain his services and are preparing to make a new contract offer, having already seen one proposal turned down by the 26-year-old.

Fulham's hopes of keeping Adarabioyo beyond the end of the season may be dampened by the suggestion that Milan are showing an interest.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan director Geoffrey Moncada has already made contact with Adarabioyo's player and agent to discuss a potential move.

The report suggests the Italian giants are leaning towards pursuing a deal in the summer when they would be able to sign Adarabioyo on a free transfer.

There is still a possibility that Milan could decide to discuss a January move with Fulham, especially due to their current defensive injury crisis.

With Fikayo Tomori, Malick Thiaw and Pierre Kalulu all on the sidelines, the Rossoneri are considering whether to bring in a new centre-back before the end of the month.

In addition to Adarabioyo, they have also identified a couple of other central defensive targets in Brest's Lilian Brassier and Barcelona's Clement Lenglet, who is currently on loan at Aston Villa.
