Italian champions AC Milan are weighing up whether to make an offer for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rafael van der Vaart, according to talkSPORT.
The Dutch international joined Spurs in August 2010 from Real Madrid and went on to become the club's leading goalscorer in the Premier League with 13 goals.
However, the 28-year-old has struggled for form and fitness in recent weeks and was omitted from the club's Europa League squad last week.
Manager Harry Redknapp has partnered Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe up front during Spurs' last two matches, leaving little room for the former Ajax attacker in the starting lineup.
Sources in Italy have suggested that Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is a big admirer of Van der Vaart and could be willing to part with £12m to take him to the San Siro.
