Emmanuel Adebayor "very happy" at Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor insists that he is "very happy" at the club despite being linked with a move away from White Hart Lane.

Emmaneul Adebayor has dismissed reports that he could be heading for the exit door at Tottenham Hotspur this summer by insisting that he is "very happy" at the North London club.

The Togo international, who made just 17 appearances in all competitions for Mauricio Pochettino's side last season, has been linked with Crystal Palace, as well as a move to Turkey in recent days.

However, the 31-year-old wrote on Twitter: "For the record, I have seen some articles regarding a transfer to teams in Turkey. I can confirm I have never heard of Mehdi Isik who has said he is my agent and have never discussed any move to Turkey. I am very happy with Tottenham and look forward to the next season with them."

Adebayor moved to Tottenham from Manchester City in 2012 following a loan spell at the club.
