Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris admits that he is considering his future amid reports that Manchester United are interested in the Frenchman.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has suggested that he is thinking about leaving White Hart Lane amid reports linking the Frenchman to Manchester United.

The 28-year-old has been touted as a potential replacement for United's number one David de Gea should the Spaniard make the move to Real Madrid this summer.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino attempted to distance Lloris from the transfer rumours at the weekend by claiming that the shot-stopper is "happy" at the North London outfit, but the player himself has admitted that he is considering his future.

"We do not know what can happen," Lloris told L'Equipe. "There is one important thing - there is a time to think about yourself, but when that time is over and the season starts, you are fully involved in the club's project."

When asked if now was the time to be thinking about his future, Lloris said: "Voila. But we cannot control everything."

In the interview, the Frenchman confirmed that there is no release clause in his contract.
