Gareth Bale says that he is concentrating on playing for Tottenham Hotspur amid speculation of interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale has insisted that he takes "no notice" of the rumours linking him with a move away from White Hart Lane.

The Welshman, who scooped a PFA double on Sunday night, has frequently been linked with a switch away from North London, with Barcelona and Real Madrid touted as his likely destinations.

However, the 23-year-old is adamant that Spurs remains his primary focus at the moment.

"I just take no notice, it's all speculation, I can't do anything about it," Bale told Sky Sports News.

"I just concentrate on my football and play as well as I can and do my best for the team."

Bale joined Spurs from Southampton in 2007.
