Tottenham Hotspur's Federico Fazio 'to undergo West Bromwich Albion medical'

Tottenham Hotspur defender Federico Fazio is reportedly due to undergo a medical at West Bromwich Albion today ahead of a £5m switch.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Federico Fazio is reportedly due to undergo a medical with West Bromwich Albion today.

The Argentine has been linked with a £5m move to The Hawthorns in the last few days.

Fazio signed for Spurs from Sevilla just last year, but is expected to struggle to hold down a regular first-team spot at White Hart Lane following the arrivals of Toby Alderweireld and Kevin Wimmer.

According to Sky Sports News, the defender is closing in on a switch to the Baggies as he is booked in to have medical tests today.

Fazio made 31 appearances for Spurs last season.
