Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale is reportedly 'reluctant' to make a loan move to former club Tottenham Hotspur.

Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has reportedly decided that he has little interest in a return to Tottenham Hotspur.

Bale left the North London outfit for the Bernabeu in 2013, but the return of Zinedine Zidane and criticism from teammates and supporters has resulted in speculation regarding a potential departure.

Spurs have been linked with a potential loan approach, but according to AS, Bale is reluctant to have a second spell with his former club.

The report adds that a switch to Spurs would be regarded as a 'step backwards' with Mauricio Pochettino's side not challenging for the Premier League title.

Bale's agent has indicated that the Wales international is keen to end his career at Real, despite finding himself in and out of the team in recent months.
