Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly rejected an offer from Brentford to sign Alex Pritchard on a permanent deal.
The 21-year-old has impressed during a loan spell at the Championship club this season and it is understood that the Bees want to make the move permanent.
However, according to The Mirror, Spurs believe that Pritchard could have a first-team role to play at White Hart Lane in the future.
The midfielder joined Tottenham in 2009 and has had loan spells with Peterborough United, Swindon Town and Brentford.
The youngster has also gained four caps for England's Under-21 side.
