Spurs pricing Everton off move for Steven Pienaar?

Steven Pienaar is being priced out of a return to Everton, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly demanding £6m for South African midfielder Steven Pienaar.

The 30-year-old, who arrived at White Hart Lane in 2011, is thought to be desperate to seal a return to Everton.

Pienaar spent the last half of last season on loan at Goodison Park, where his form was rejuvenated thanks to a regular run in the first team.

David Moyes had originally brought Pienaar in on loan from Borussia Dortmund in 2007, before paying £2m for him after an impressive stint on Merseyside.

Harry Redknapp paid the Toffees £3m for Pienaar, but The Sun has reported that price has doubled, which could put the brakes on a return to Everton.
