Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Lautaro Martinez as a potential replacement for talisman Harry Kane in the summer.
Kane was heavily linked with a transfer to Manchester City last summer, with Pep Guardiola revealing over the weekend that the Citizens had four bids rejected for the striker.
City were priced out of a big-money move for the 28-year-old, who was keen to make the switch to the Etihad Stadium, and now the England captain is set to wait until the summer before deciding on his next career move.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, via ESPN, Spurs will consider swooping for Inter's Martinez should Kane express his desire to leave and should Daniel Levy allow the striker to move on next season.
Martinez, 24, is valued at €60m (£50.5m) by the Serie A giants, but Spurs may face competition from Man City to land the Argentina international.
Kane has a contract in North London until June 2024, while Martinez still has four and a half years remaining on his deal at San Siro.
