St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright has insisted that his side's Europa League tie against Spartak Trnava is not over, despite Thursday's 2-1 home defeat in the first leg.
The Saints boss believes that his team still has the chance to stage a comeback, but acknowledged that they must show significant improvement in the second leg.
"The tie's still alive but we've got to play better," BBC Sport quotes Wright as saying. "We've got a chance. We don't do it very often where we're outworked or outcompeted, but that's what it was.
"The real St Johnstone have to turn up [next week]. If it's like we were in the first half we'll be out of it."
The return leg takes place in Slovakia next Thursday.
