Peter Crouch is hopeful that his recent move to Stoke City will solidify his place in the England squad.
The striker, who joined the Potters for £10m from Spurs last month, feels that regular Premier League outings will help attract Fabio Capello's attention.
“I know if I’m playing week in, week out I’ll get in the England squad and hopefully be involved in the team,” he said.
“If I’m playing in European competition and doing well in the Premier League, I don’t see any reason why I shouldn’t be involved. If I do well for my club and score goals, it is going to be hard for the England manager to ignore me. That’s my plan.
“It’s exciting times with the England team. If we qualify for the Euros, it will be great to be part of that squad.”
The 30-year-old last played for England in November's 1-2 friendly loss to France when he scored as a substitute.
