Stoke City have reportedly calmed their interest in Blackburn Rovers defender Martin Olsson after the Lancashire club slapped an £8m price tag on the left-back.
The 23-year-old has been reported as a possible target for the Potters, with a player exodus expected at Ewood Park following the club's relegation to the Championship.
It is believed that the requested price is double the offer Stoke originally wanted to pay for the Sweden international, according to the Daily Star.
It is thought that Newcastle United remain interested in Olsson following their reported £3m rejected bid last summer.
