Martin O'Neill reportedly blocks loan exits for Titus Bramble and David Vaughan.

Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill has reportedly blocked loan exits for Titus Bramble and David Vaughan.

Ipswich reportedly planned on recalling Bramble to Portman road, while Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is also interested in Vaughan.

O'Neill showed his intent in keeping the players when they were both included in the starting lineup for Saturday's 2-1 victory over Blackburn.

The former Celtic boss is also interested in rounding up Black Cats players who are out on loan at other clubs.

"There are a number of players out on loan at this minute and it's something I'll have to have a serious look at," he said.

Sunderland are currently 16th in the Premier League with 14 points from 15 games.
