Sunderland are reportedly keen on clinching the signature of Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro this month.
The 26-year-old, who joined the R's from Tottenham Hotspur in 2014, has been linked with a move away from Loftus Road.
According to The Mirror, Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce is hopeful of sealing a cut-price deal, but he has concerns over the Brazilian's pace and history with injuries.
It is believed that the North-East outfit have approached the Championship club regarding Sandro, who is said to be one of the highest earners at QPR on £50,000 a week.
