Hoffenheim have reportedly rejected a bid from Swansea City for Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The 22-year-old, who has been on loan at the Liberty Stadium since January, has impressed on his return to England, scoring seven goals in 17 games.
Sigurdsson has revealed that he would like to stay in the Premier League beyond this season, but BBC Sport understands that the Swans' initial advances have been rebuffed by the Bundesliga club.
Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the midfielder this summer.
Hoffenheim are said to value Sigurdsson, who joined from Reading in 2010, at around £10m.
