Swansea City defender Ashley Williams will reportedly be available for the Welsh side's Premier League match against Everton this weekend, despite limping off the field against Aston Villa.

Swansea City defender Ashley Williams has reportedly won his battle to be fit for the Swans' Premier League encounter with Everton this weekend.

Fears of a stint on the sidelines have surrounded the 28-year-old, who limped off the field in the Welsh side's 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa.

Despite worries over his availability, Williams, who required painkillers after suffering the problem, is likely to be in the team to go up against the Toffees on Saturday, according to The Express.

The former Championship side currently sit fifth in the Premier League table.
