Swansea City defender Ashley Williams has been full of praise for manager Garry Monk as the coach marks his first year in charge of the team.
Twelve months ago today, Monk was appointed as Michael Laudrup's full-time replacement at the Liberty Stadium.
Last season, the 35-year-old guided Swansea to 12th in the Premier League table with 42 points from 38 matches.
"He's done a brilliant job," Williams told the club's official website. "He came in and steadied the team straight away, and this year he's put his own stamp on the team.
"So far we've got our joint best return in terms of points at this stage of the season in the Premier League, so that goes to show how good a job he has done. The way we've gone about it, the football we have played, has been very satisfying."
The Swans are currently ninth in the table with 33 points after 23 games.
