Ronald Koeman 'confirms interest' in Axel Witsel, Juan Mata

Everton boss Ronald Koeman appears to tell a supporter that signing Juan Mata and Axel Witsel this summer "is possible", amid reports of big-money offers being tabled.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman has seemingly confirmed that he is interested in bringing both Axel Witsel and Juan Mata to Goodison Park this summer.

The duo, thought to be valued at a combined price of around £50m, have been linked with big-money moves to the Toffees in recent weeks.

A video has now emerged on social media of Koeman, who is likely to be handed large funds in the transfer market, telling a supporter that Everton are "working hard" to get a deal pushed through.

Mata is expected to depart Old Trafford prior to the start of the new season following the arrival of manager Jose Mourinho, who sold him to the Red Devils during his second stint in charge of Chelsea.
