Juventus have reportedly been informed that Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes is 'not for sale'.
The Italian champions have been strongly linked with a move for the Portuguese over the last week and it is understood that senior figures from both clubs met towards the end of last month.
However, according to AS, Valencia are not prepared to sell the 22-year-old, who transferred to Spain from Benfica in 2015 after initially joining the La Liga side on loan.
A Portuguese international of six caps, Gomes is believed to have a buy-out clause in the region of £77m.
