Stein Huysegems strike sinks Melbourne Heart

Wellington Phoenix claim three points in a vital clash against fellow strugglers Melbourne Heart.

A solitary goal from Stein Huysegems has given Wellington Phoenix victory against Melbourne Heart and back-to-back A-League wins for the first time since 2012.

John Aloisi's side are now rooted to the bottom of the table without a win in 17 games, and they could have been behind inside 10 minutes when Carlos Hernandez struck a shot against the post.

Heart's best chance to open the scoring came just after the break when Aziz Behich did well to work space in the box but could only shoot at Glenn Moss in the away goal

Harry Kewell somehow failed to put an effort on target with the goal gaping before David Williams blazed over and Kewell again turned a chance wide.

With Heart looking the most likely to score, the visitors grabbed the points with 15 minutes to play as Tyler Boyd found Huysegems in the box for a simple finish.
