Craig Gardner: 'Saido Berahino deserves England call'

Craig Gardner believes that West Brom teammate Saido Berahino should be named in the next England squad.

West Bromwich Albion midfielder Craig Gardner has backed calls for teammate Saido Berahino to be named in the next England squad.

The young forward scored twice during the Baggies' 4-0 win over Burnley on Sunday, leading to suggestions that he could be part of the Three Lions setup for their upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers against San Marino and Estonia.

Following his fine display against the Clarets, Gardner believes that the 21-year-old deserves to be recognised by England manager Roy Hodgson.


West Brom continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday when they travel to Liverpool.
