Scott Sinclair calls for patience

West Bromwich Albion loanee Scott Sinclair is hoping that he is given some patience by the club's supporters.

Scott Sinclair has urged West Bromwich Albion supporters to be "patient" with him during his initial period with the club.

The winger joined the Baggies on a loan basis last month from Manchester City, having failed to make an impact at the Etihad Stadium following a move from Swansea City in the summer of 2012.

Following such a lengthy spell without regular action, the 24-year-old believes that it will take him some time before he is able to recapture his best form.

"This is why I've come here – to get games. It's going to take me time to get back to the level I was at after being out for the whole year and having a major operation on my shoulder and a blood clot," Sinclair is quoted as saying by the Express & Star.

"Hopefully the fans will be patient and I'll just keep building and the goals and the chances will come. It's great being back involved, playing every week and just enjoying my football.

"Being out for the whole season is very difficult for any player and it's just a case of getting back into it, getting chances and playing well. I don't regret going to Manchester City at all. I tried my luck and sometimes things just don't pay off."

Sinclair has made three appearances so far this season.
