West Bromwich Albion have reportedly suspended contract negotiations with Saido Berahino amid concerns over his recent dip in form in the Premier League.
The striker scored seven goals early in the season, but has not found the back of the net since being called up to the England squad for the first time last month.
According to the Express and Star, the Baggies are refusing to complete a deal which would give the 21-year-old a pay rise, as his barren run has coincided with his arrest for drink driving, leading to concerns about his off-field behaviour.
Berahino has been left out of Albion's starting lineup for the last two matches, but came off the bench to help West Brom beat local rivals Aston Villa on Saturday.
