West Bromwich Albion have reportedly identified Huddersfield Town defender Michael Hefele as a possible summer signing.
The Baggies have started to up their transfer activity, with both goalkeeper Jonathan Bond and centre-back Kyle Bartley completing moves to The Hawthorns on Monday.
According to Football Insider, the West Midlands outfit are keen to bring in more defensive reinforcements after relegation from the Premier League earlier this year.
The report suggests that Darren Moore wants to sign Hefele, who barely featured for Huddersfield last season due to injury and the form of Christopher Schindler, Mathias Jorgensen and Terence Kongolo.
The 27-year-old has just a year remaining on his contract, which is likely to lead to the Terriers cashing in on the player before the end of the transfer window.
