West Ham United vice-chairwoman Karren Brady rejects Jurgen Klopp speculation

West Ham United vice-chairwoman Karren Brady dismisses speculation linking the club with Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp.

West Ham United vice-chairwoman Karren Brady has rubbished talk linking the club with Jurgen Klopp.

It was reported on Tuesday that the Borussia Dortmund manager had rejected an approach from the Hammers to take over from Sam Allardyce this summer.

Klopp recently confirmed that he would be leaving Dortmund at the end of the season, leading to rampant speculation over his future.

However, Brady has dismissed suggestions that West Ham are keen on the German, claiming instead that they are eager to speak with Allardyce about a new deal.

"It is just nonsense," she told Sky Sports News. "Sam is the manager, we have talked to him about sitting down at the end of the season, which we will do. We have to see what he wants to do going forwards. That's how these things work.

"What sort of money does he want to invest in players? What positions does he want? Those are the conversation you always have, typically, at the end of the season and we make an arrangement going forwards. That's still our intention."

Manchester City and Arsenal are among the other clubs that Klopp has been linked with since he announced his intention to quit Dortmund.
