Matt Jarvis eyes West Ham United improvement

Matt Jarvis insists that West Ham United will do their best to get back to winning ways following Saturday's defeat to Stoke City in the Premier League.

West Ham United winger Matt Jarvis has insisted that the squad will do all that they can to get back to winning ways following Saturday's defeat to Stoke City.

The Hammers were beaten 1-0 at Upton Park as they slumped to their first loss of the Premier League season.

"I was very disappointed with the performance and the result, really, especially with it being at home where we have such a good record," Jarvis told the club's official website.

"We're going to have to sort it out and make sure it never happens again and get back to winning ways and what we normally do at home."

West Ham return to league action on September 15 with a trip to Southampton.
