Report: Slaven Bilic freezes out Morgan Amalfitano after clash

West Ham United midfielder Morgan Amalfitano is told by manager Slaven Bilic to train with the club's youth squad after missing a team meeting, according to reports.

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has reportedly told Morgan Amalfitano to train with the youth team after the midfielder missed a team meeting.

The Mirror claims that Bilic and Amalfitano clashed after the French player missed one of Bilic's meetings, and the player is understood to have "given the manager attitude" when confronted about his absence in front of his teammates.

The paper goes on to report that Amalfitano has now been ordered by the Croatian manager to stay away from the club's Chadwell Heath training ground and practise with the youth development squad at nearby Rush Green instead.

The 30-year-old, who joined the club in September 2014, was previously called "unprofessional" and disciplined by former manager Sam Allardyce after being booked and then sent off in the space of nine minutes as a second-half substitute in February's FA Cup defeat at West Bromwich Albion.

Amalfitano was left out of Bilic's squad for the Hammers' opening-day win against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
