Sam Allardyce unconcerned by West Ham United future

Sam Allardyce insists that he is not losing any sleep over the mounting speculation surrounding his future as West Ham United boss.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has insisted that he is not concerned about the prospect of losing his job.

Allardyce, 60, is heavily expected to part company with the Hammers when his contract expires this summer, with the club's hierarchy reportedly reluctant to table an extension.

The Irons sit 10th in the Premier League table, having looked in contention for a Champions League spot at one stage in December, but two wins in 2015 has scuppered their European dreams.

"A man of my age and my experience doesn't lose sleep over things like this anymore," Allardyce is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"It's not worth it. My health is worth more than worrying about things like that.

"You stay awake at night worrying about your team, that's the priority. That's what you concentrate on."

Earlier this week, Sports Mole examined five managers in contention to replace the former Bolton Wanderers boss at Upton Park.
