Dan Potts has returned to Premier League outfit West Ham United.
The 19-year-old had spent the last month with League Two side Portsmouth on a loan basis.
There had been reports that the defender could extend his spell at Fratton Park by another four weeks, but manager Richie Barker has decided against pursuing that type of deal.
"Potts is going back and I had to make a decision on people who were going to be here this week," said Barker.
Potts has made 10 appearances for West Ham at senior level.
