West Ham United have reportedly started discussions with Brazilian winger Nene over a move to Upton Park.
The club's co-owner David Sullivan recently confirmed that he was in the market for an attack-minded player to cover the absence of Andy Carroll, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.
While the transfer window closed earlier this month, former Paris Saint-Germain wideman Nene can still make the switch to East London due to his status as a free agent.
The 33-year-old has been in talks with a number of European clubs, but if personal terms can be agreed, he would prefer to join West Ham, according to the Daily Mail.
Most recently the former Brazilian youth international has been playing in Qatar with Al Gharafa.
