Wigan Athletic, Blackpool to meet in Johnstone's Paint Trophy

Wigan Athletic will host Blackpool in the last 16 of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, while Millwall travel to Plymouth Argyle.

Wigan Athletic and Blackpool have been paired together in the last-16 draw of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

After their relegation from the Championship last year, both teams are considered two of the big clubs remaining in the competition, but one of them will be eliminated ahead of the quarter-final stage.

Elsewhere in the Northern Section, Sheffield United will travel to the North-West to face Fleetwood Town, while the winner of the clash between Bradford City and Barnsley will meet York City.

In the Southern Section, Millwall will face Plymouth Argyle, with Gillingham hosting Yeovil Town.

All ties will be played on the week commencing November 9.

Northern Section:
Wigan Athletic vs. Blackpool
Rochdale vs. Morecambe
Fleetwood Town vs. Sheffield United
Bradford City or Barnsley vs. York City

Southern Section:
Dagenham & Redbridge vs. Oxford United
Gillingham vs. Yeovil Town
Southend United vs. Bristol Rovers
Plymouth Argyle vs. Millwall
