Wolverhampton Wanderers' Kortney Hause out for a month

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett reveals that he is trying to sign a defender on loan after losing Kortney Hause for up to six weeks to a hamstring injury.

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Kortney Hause has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a hamstring injury.

The 20-year-old suffered the problem during Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Middlesbrough at Molineux.

Wolves were leading 1-0 when Hause, who had played every minute of the Championship season, had to go off shortly after half time. The hosts then conceded three times in the final 20 minutes to lose out.

Manager Kenny Jackett has said that he is looking at bringing in a loan signing to cover the loss of Hause.

"Defensively, we do need options with the injuries that we have," Jackett told the club website.

"We have to try to bring players in because the goals against column is too high, we need to address that and we're looking to use the loan market to address that by the weekend."

Wolves also revealed that winger Rajiv van La Parra could be out for up to three weeks with a knee problem, but the Black Country club could welcome back Dominic Iorfa for Saturday's trip to nearby Birmingham City.
