Wolverhampton Wanderers drop price of season tickets

Wolverhampton Wanderers drop their season ticket prices to just £15 a game next season in order to give back to their "loyal" supporters.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have attempted to please their "resilient and loyal" fans by slashing the prices of season tickets.

The Championship club have announced that tickets will drop to just £15 a game for next season, while the £6 booking fee for supporters renewing during the Early Bird scheme for next year's season tickets will be scrapped.

Chief executive Jez Moxey wrote in a letter to season-ticket holders: "We are in the middle of some very tough times, there is no hiding from that fact. We all feel it.

"Every decision we take at Molineux is made with the very best interests of Wolves at heart. We know it may not always appear that way but be assured that is the case. Let's face it we all want to prosper in the Premier League, not to be fighting for survival in the Championship.

"We are, therefore, extremely disappointed and sorry that some of the decisions taken have not worked out in the way we all wanted."

Moxey also confirmed that the club will be entering the loan market between now and the end of the season if players become available.
