Kenny Jackett considers loan move after Ethan Ebanks-Landell blow

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett admits that he is considering entering the loan market after defender Ethan Ebanks-Landell suffered a foot injury.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has revealed that he intends to "ask the question" regarding a potential loan move for a new defender.

Last month, owner Steve Morgan put the Championship club up for sale, leaving the possibility of new signings arriving at Molineux very much in doubt, but an injury to centre-back Ethan Ebanks-Landell could force the club's hand.

The 22-year-old has suffered a stress fracture to his foot, which may rule out him out for the rest of the year, and Jackett has acknowledged that his squad could need strengthening in the short term.

Jackett is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "Myself and Kevin Thelwell will continue to do our work and, at the right time, ask the questions.

"I do appreciate the right time may be the January transfer window or before that, if we feel we can improve the side because of situations like this. We will ask the question to see where we are."

Wolves currently sit in ninth position in the Championship table.
