The technical director of Colorado Rapids has refused to be drawn on reports that have linked Kevin Doyle with a move to the MLS side.
Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Kenny Jackett confirmed last week that talks had taken place between the two clubs regarding the Republic of Ireland international's future.
However, when asked for his reaction to the speculation, Paul Bravo decided not to comment.
"Doyle's contracted with another club and so we can't technically comment on players that are contracted with other clubs. I can say that we are actively searching for a striker with experience," he told the Denver Post.
Bravo also confirmed that the Rapids had turned down the opportunity to sign former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan.
