Head of football operations Kevin Thelwell has hinted that Wolverhampton Wanderers are prepared to offer Jack Price a new contract.
The 20-year-old's previous deal was due to expire this summer, but the League One club are believed to have recently exercised their right to extend it by a further 12 months.
However, Thelwell has suggested that the midfielder could soon be offered fresh terms.
"We already have an option to keep him here until summer 2015, but as with all players, when they're in the team and playing well, we're always ready to look at their contract situation. Jack's an excellent young player who's taken his opportunity very well," the Express & Star quotes the club official as saying.
Price has featured 14 times for Wolves this season.
