Ryan Cresswell's header on the half-hour mark looked like it was enough to seal Northampton's away win, boosting their hopes of keeping touch-tight with the top three teams in the division.
However, Wycombe's resilience kept their unbeaten streak to nine games thanks to an Aaron Holloway equaliser in the dying seconds.

Northampton looked set to grab the away victory but were hampered on the 86th minute due to Gregor Robertson getting his second yellow card.
An additional five minutes were added on and proved costly, as Holloway's right-footed shot from the centre of the box flew into the top right hand corner, condemning Northampton from a potential fourth place in the table back to sixth.
