Yeovil Town captain Jamie McAllister has said that winning promotion to the Championship is a great achievement for the club.
The Glovers beat Brentford 2-1 in Sunday's League One playoff final to reach the second tier for the first time in the club's history.
McAllister, who lost the 2008 Championship playoff final with Bristol City, has revealed that lifting the trophy fulfilled a career-long ambition.
"It was an incredible feeling lifting the trophy up, I'd dreamed about it all week," Football365 quotes him as saying.
"All through your career you want to be the captain who lifts a trophy at Hampden or Wembley or wherever and to do it was just incredible.
"What an achievement for such a small club with a small budget, but we had the belief in the dressing room and the quality all season."
The Somerset outfit will join Doncaster Rovers and Bournemouth in the Championship next season.
