Felipe Massa's race engineer Rob Smedley has said that Ferrari 'have a good chance' of winning this weekend's British Grand Prix.
The Italian team is on a high after Fernando Alonso's win at the last race in Valencia.
Speaking of Sunday's race at Silverstone, Smedley, 38, said: "Our chances are good, even if it's no secret we still need to develop and have a quicker car.
"Our car has always been particularly suited to high-speed corners and Silverstone has high-speed turns for almost two-thirds of the track."
Smedley's driver Massa has not hit the dizzy heights of Alonso, who leads the drivers' championship, this season. However, he feels the Brazilian is not far from rediscovering his form.
Smedley added: "Right now, going into Silverstone, there is very little that Felipe is lacking for him to be back where he was in terms of driving and confidence in the car."
