Sergio Perez has admitted that his Formula One ambitions mean that he will want to move to a 'big team' in the future.
The Sauber driver has recently dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Ferrari after his surprise second-place finish at the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Perez told NDTV: "In the future my goal is to be in a big team and to be fighting for victories. The most important thing is having a car that gives me the chance to win races.
"I believe that in two or three years I will be fighting for the World Championship."
The 22-year-old is currently fifth in the drivers' championship standings.
